The Mareeba Heritage Museum and Tourist Information Centre is located one hours drive from Cairns City taking you through breathtaking scenery, from the rainforests of the Kuranda Range to the Australian bushland of the Tropical Tablelands.

The township of Mareeba and its attractions are easily accessible whether it be by hire car or by one of the numerous tour coaches departing Cairns.

Mareeba is full of local attractions catering for all ages from the crystal clear waterfalls of Davies Creek, †Emerald Creek and †Granite Gorge to morning Balloon flights over the Tropical Tablelands.

Absolutely fabulous, we enjoy nearly 300 days of sunshine a year with next to no winter, which normally attracts a large migration of southern tourists.
