‘Come With Mary After Dark’ tours are a must do when you are visiting Mareeba. Hosted by Mary Thompson, who is the Volunteer Museum Curator at the Mareeba Heritage Museum and Visitor Information Centre, these tours are for grown ups! Revealing intimate stories, family histories and cover some of the many milestones, characters and events that helped shape this town.

Hosted ‘after dark’ starts at 6pm, these fully guided tours provide a new perspective on some of the 47 exhibits and 6,000 items we have here at the centre. Conducted from May to September this 1-hour tour runs 1 day a week, on a Wednesday. Or by special arrangement.
